Instinct's usefulness depends heavily on the services it can connect to. The official Terms call these Connected Services and authorize the assistant to access, exchange data with, and take actions through them when the user grants permission.
The strongest first-party evidence is for Google Workspace and the general connected-service model. Other integrations, including login and payment tooling, are documented through partner statements and reputable reporting.
Which Instinct integrations are officially documented?
Instinct's current public Privacy Policy specifically names these Google Workspace products:
- Gmail;
- Google Calendar;
- Google Drive;
- Google Docs;
- Google Sheets;
- Google Slides;
- Google Tasks.
The policy says Instinct can receive related file metadata, message metadata, calendar event details, and other content shared through Google Workspace APIs when the user chooses to link Workspace.
That is much stronger evidence than a screenshot or a third-party feature list because it comes from Instinct's own current policy.
What does "Connected Service" mean?
Instinct's Terms use Connected Service as a broad category for third-party websites, applications, and services the assistant may interact with on a user's behalf.
The Terms say the user authorizes Instinct to:
- access and interact with connected services;
- copy, collect, and index data from them;
- exchange data with them;
- take actions through them.
This is the foundation underneath many Instinct use cases. A calendar integration is not only useful for reading dates; it may also support scheduling. Email access can provide context, but action permissions can also allow communication or follow-up.
That is why integration access should always be evaluated together with permissions.
Google Workspace
Google Workspace is the clearest integration family in the official documentation.
Instinct's Privacy Policy says Workspace information is used to provide and personalize the service, including helping the personal assistant take actions on the user's behalf.
It also gives Workspace data a special privacy rule: information received directly from Google Workspace APIs is not used to evaluate, fine-tune, train, or improve AI models, and Instinct says it is not used for advertising.
For a focused breakdown, see Instinct AI Google Workspace.
Gmail
Gmail is explicitly listed in the Privacy Policy.
That supports a narrow factual claim: when a user links Google Workspace, Instinct may receive access to Gmail data shared through the Workspace APIs.
It does not by itself prove every possible email behavior. Reading, searching, summarizing, drafting, sending, or acting from email can involve different permissions and product flows.
For those distinctions, see Instinct AI Gmail.
Google Calendar
Google Calendar is also explicitly named.
Calendar context can be relevant to scheduling, travel, reminders, and appointment tasks, but users should distinguish calendar access from a guarantee that Instinct will successfully create or modify every event.
The Privacy Policy establishes data access. Individual action reliability still depends on the task and current product behavior.
See Instinct AI Calendar.
Instinct's own email address
TechCrunch reported in September that Instinct began giving assistants their own email addresses.
That is different from connecting the user's Gmail account.
An Instinct-owned email address can let the agent create accounts, contact businesses, receive confirmations, or follow up without putting every automated message directly into the user's personal inbox.
The two email models therefore serve different roles:
- connected Gmail gives the assistant user-authorized context from the user's Workspace account;
- Instinct email gives the assistant a separate address it can use for agent-operated workflows.
The exact feature availability may vary by account or rollout.
Login and credential tooling
TechCrunch also reported a partnership involving 1Password to help Instinct log in to existing user accounts.
That is a reported product capability, not a reason to hand credentials to an unverified third party.
Instinct's own Privacy Policy separately says users may provide usernames and passwords for third-party accounts so the assistant can sign in on their behalf.
For any credential-related workflow, verify that you are using the official Instinct product and understand what account access is being granted.
Payments and Stripe Link
Stripe is a stronger source for the payment side because Stripe itself published a partner description.
Stripe states that Instinct uses Link's wallet infrastructure to power consumer spending by agents. Instinct's Terms separately explain the legal model for purchases: the user, not Instinct, is the buyer, and the external merchant's pricing, shipping, cancellation, and refund rules apply.
An integration can make checkout easier without eliminating transaction risk.
See Instinct AI Shopping for the purchase workflow and Instinct AI Refunds for post-purchase issues.
Are integrations the same for every Instinct user?
There is no public evidence that every account receives every connected-service feature at the same time.
Instinct has been rolling out features quickly, and some capabilities have been described as early access or gradual rollouts.
Treat this page as a map of documented integration surfaces, not a promise about the exact buttons shown in your account.
How to evaluate an Instinct integration
Before connecting a service, ask four questions:
- What data can Instinct read?
- What actions can Instinct perform?
- How do I revoke future access?
- How do I delete data already collected or indexed?
The last two are not the same. Instinct's Privacy Policy says disconnecting a third-party integration does not automatically delete previously collected data.
For deletion controls, see Instinct AI Privacy and the upcoming data-deletion guide.
